One person was killed and two others were injured as a result of a Russian drone strike on a private car in the Sumy region on the morning of August 25, reported the Sumy Regional Prosecutor's Office.
The 37-year-old driver was killed, and the passengers were injured — a 56-year-old woman and her 62-year-old husband.
Sumy was under a massive drone attack. More than 10 explosions were recorded overnight, damaging several houses. In the morning, one of the drones hit a residential house, another hit a gas station, reported the head of the city military administration, Sergey Krivosheenko.
As a result of the attack, windows were shattered in the house, and two people received shrapnel injuries. After the strike on the gas station, a fire started. According to preliminary data, there were no casualties.
Also, on the morning of August 25, the Russian army launched strikes with guided aerial bombs on the territory of the Zaporizhzhia region. As a result of the shelling, houses, power lines, and gas supply were damaged, reported local authorities.
Since the evening, the Russian army attacked Ukraine with 104 strike UAVs and various types of drone simulators, 76 drones were neutralized, reported the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. “28 UAV hits were recorded at 15 locations, with debris falling at 4 locations,” the message noted.
