Ukrainian drones attacked more than ten regions of Russia

The Ministry of Defense reported the destruction of 184 Ukrainian drones overnight. Most of the drones — 64 — were shot down over the Kursk region. Another 31 UAVs were destroyed in the sky over the Belgorod region, 30 — over the Nizhny Novgorod region, and 18 were shot down in the Voronezh region. The remaining drones were destroyed over the waters of the Black Sea, in Crimea, Moscow and the Moscow region, as well as in the Lipetsk, Kaluga, Tula, Rostov, Ryazan, Bryansk, Oryol, and Volgograd regions. In the morning, the military also clarified that another 25 Ukrainian drones were shot down.

In Belgorod, as a result of the attacks, a fire broke out in the premises of one of the infrastructure facilities, five cars were damaged in various parts of the city, and in the Belgorod district, in the village of Tavrovo, the roof of a garage was pierced, wrote Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov in his Telegram channel. In addition, in Stary Oskol, due to the debris of a fallen UAV, windows were broken in an apartment building and 20 cars were damaged.

Explosions were also reported by residents of the Nizhny Novgorod region. According to Governor Gleb Nikitin, in Dzerzhinsk, drone debris fell on the territory of one of the industrial enterprises and damaged several buildings, outbuildings, and cars. “No significant damage to industrial infrastructure was recorded,” emphasized the head of the region.

The Mayor of Moscow, Sergey Sobyanin, reported the destruction of a drone flying towards the capital, and emergency service specialists are working at the site of the debris fall.

In Yelets, Lipetsk region, a car and the glazing of a private house were damaged, no casualties were reported, stated the head of the region Igor Artamonov.

Airports in Volgograd, Kaluga, Nizhny Novgorod, and Yaroslavl did not receive or send planes, and currently, restrictions are in place at the airports of Sochi and Gelendzhik
