On the morning of October 7, Russian military attacked the Sumy region with strike drones, hitting a civilian infrastructure facility in the Zarechny district of the city, reported the head of the Sumy regional military administration, Oleg Grigorov. Several houses and energy infrastructure facilities were also damaged. Three people were injured in different parts of the region overnight.

In the Poltava region, due to debris fall and direct hits, a residential building, an administrative building, warehouse facilities, and railway infrastructure rolling stock, as well as an energy facility, were damaged. More than a thousand consumers were left without electricity, reported the head of the regional military administration, Vladimir Kogut.
Russian military also shelled the Korabelny district of Kherson at night. Three people suffered concussions, mine-explosive, and closed head injuries, local authorities reported.
During the night attack on Kharkiv, a civilian enterprise was damaged. As reported by the head of the regional military administration, Kharkiv and the region are being shelled by Russia around the clock using all types of weapons. Only in the past week, five people were killed, 32 were injured, including a 4-year-old girl.
