In the Saltivskyi and Kyivskyi districts, the destruction of private and apartment buildings and garages was recorded, and fires broke out. One of the aerial bombs hit the city market, burning pavilions over an area of 2800 square meters.

The previous evening, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, reported a critical situation at the Zaporizhzhia NPP, which has been without external power supply for a week. «The situation is critical. Due to Russian shelling, the plant is disconnected from power, from the electrical grid. It is being powered by diesel generators. This is extraordinary. The generators and the plant are not designed for this and have never operated in this mode for so long. And we already have information that one of the generators has failed. It is the Russians who, due to shelling, are preventing the repair of power lines to the plant and the restoration of basic safety», — Zelensky wrote.
