The judge of the Verkh-Isetsky District Court of Yekaterinburg placed the Ural ex-oligarch Alexey Bobrov in custody. He will be in the pre-trial detention center at least until November 15, reported Sotavision*. The billionaire is accused of fraud involving particularly large amounts. The defense requested house arrest and offered bail of 44 million rubles.
Today, the chairman of the board of directors of "STS Corporation" Tatyana Chernykh was also sent to the pre-trial detention center, and the detention of suspects Artem Noskov and Anton Bolikov was extended for 72 hours.
The investigation believes that the criminal schemes are related to the construction of a waste sorting complex and concession agreements with the authorities of the Sverdlovsk region.
In mid-September, the Prosecutor General's Office filed a lawsuit in the Leninsky District Court of Yekaterinburg for the "nationalization" of "STS Corporation," owned by Alexey Bobrov and Artem Bykov. Today, "STS Corporation" announced that it is ready to transfer "Oblkommunenergo" to state ownership.
Alexey Bobrov, Tatyana Chernykh, as well as the acting general director of the subsidiary company "Oblkommunenergo" "United Heating Company" Artem Noskov and the former head of the same organization Anton Bolikov were detained upon arrival in Yekaterinburg for the process on the prosecutor's lawsuit for "nationalization." None of those listed admitted guilt in fraud.
