The Russian army dropped an air bomb on the village of Yarovaya in the Donetsk region, which is located 7-8 kilometers from the front line, at that moment pensions were being distributed to civilians in the post office building, reported the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.
The head of the Donetsk regional military administration, Vadym Filashkin, wrote that as a result of the strike, at least 21 people died, and the same number were injured.
«Such strikes by Russia should definitely not remain without a proper response from the world. Russians continue to destroy lives, but avoid new strong sanctions, new strong blows. The world must not be silent. The world must not remain inactive. A reaction from the United States is needed. A reaction from Europe is needed. A reaction from the „Group of Twenty“ is needed. Strong actions are needed to stop Russia from bringing death», — Zelensky wrote in his Telegram channel.
The Russian army also launched a series of strikes on Kostyantynivka: the city was shelled with an FAB-500 air bomb, artillery, and an FPV drone. One person was injured, and four more city residents may be under the rubble of a multi-story building, reported the head of the city military administration, MVA Gorbunov.
