The pilot died, two passengers were taken to the hospital, no injuries on the ground

A Boeing 737-400 cargo plane of DHL, flying to Vilnius from Leipzig, crashed into a residential two-story house near Vilnius airport, reported the portal Delfi. The crash occurred at 5:31 local time.

The plane belonged to the company Swiftair and was leased by DHL. There were four people on board — two pilots and two passengers. One person died, and two others were taken to the hospital, reported Reuters representatives of the airport.

The house the plane crashed into has four apartments, with 12 people living in them. All of them were evacuated, and no one was injured.

In early November, sources from the Wall Street Journal in Western intelligence reported that Russian intelligence was preparing to set fire to transport planes flying from Europe to the USA and Canada. In the summer, packages with electric massagers caught fire at DHL logistics centers in Leipzig and Birmingham, UK. Later, a flammable substance was found in them.

Sources from The New York Times warned that Russia might organize a large number of sabotage operations in Europe and carry out attacks on US military bases and their allies in response to allowing Ukraine to strike Russian territory with long-range Western weapons.
