UPD: The death toll from the terrorist attack in Ankara has risen to five, with 22 people injured. This was reported by the Turkish Minister of Internal Affairs Ali Yerlikaya on TRT Haber channel. It is assumed that members of the Kurdistan Workers' Party could have carried out the attack.

A terrorist attack occurred at the headquarters of Turkish Aerospace Industries near Ankara, reports Reuters citing the country's government. The cause and perpetrators of the explosion and subsequent shooting remain unclear. Some media claimed that a suicide bomber carried out the explosion and that there were hostages in the building. There is no official confirmation of this version.

Witnesses told Reuters that employees in the building were evacuated to shelters. According to them, explosions could have occurred at different exits as employees were leaving work.

The state agency Anadolu reported that emergency services were dispatched to the scene, and television footage showed damaged gates and a shootout in the parking lot. The attackers had automatic weapons and backpacks when they entered the building.
